Our Mission

Saga Bridge Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization engaged in projects and endeavors to improve the quality of life of the underserved community in the areas of health, education, safety, and agricultural productivity; including activities like building pedestrian footbridges, clinics, and schools.

Projects that have the highest impact on the youth, the women, and small holder farmers will be given priority in order to result in the maximum benefit to the community.

Our Vision

Build pedestrian footbridges over dangerous rivers in the underserved rural community.

Build elementary schools nearby the remote rural community. Strengthen the established schools by providing with school supplies, books, and training teachers.

Strengthen the impoverished rural community by introducing modern farming and permanent garden.

Why Saga Bridge?

Currently, due to the absence of nearby schools, children travel for hours to go to school. Children have to cross one of the largest rivers in the community to go to school.

Why Elementary School?

Girls often are forced to get married because of pressure from parents, poverty, and lack of better alternatives. Due to limited access to close schools and quality education.

Why Modern Farming?

Este rural community is very traditional community. Uses traditional farming using oxen. There is no electricity or running water in the rural community.
